Fence Tester, Without Ground Rod

The AKO fence tester with LED display enables quick and convenient checking of fence voltage – without the need for a ground spike. To measure the voltage, the device is simply placed directly on the conductor material, allowing flexible testing of the fence voltage at any point along the fence line.

Nine particularly bright LEDs display the current fence voltage in clearly visible steps up to 10,000 volts. The color-coded display allows for quick assessment of the fence condition: red indicates a low voltage below 2,000 volts, yellow represents 3,000–4,000 volts, and green indicates an optimal fence voltage of 5,000–10,000 volts. An additional LED in the center shows the status of the installed 9-volt block battery.

The mobile LED fence tester is easy to use and ready for operation immediately. A short press of the PRESS button checks whether all LEDs are functioning properly. If the measured voltage is below 2,000 volts, it is recommended to check the fence line for possible leakage such as grass contact and to verify the grounding of the fence energizer.

The fence tester is powered by a 9-volt block battery, which is already included in the delivery. Thanks to its compact design and highly visible LEDs – even in strong sunlight – the device is ideal for daily use at the pasture.
