Three ring bits: More rings for greater control
Show Jumping bits are also called 3-ring bits. They are snaffles with an extra ring on top and one or two extra rings on the bottom. This allows more reins to be attached and provides additional control.
A three ring bit is only recommended for experienced riders due to its sharp action.
